The primitive

Awan schedules into the shape your day already has.

Your day is divided into zones — named windows with their own hours and categories. Every task belongs to one, and the scheduler will only ever place it inside that zone's window. Group zones into a routine and apply it to whichever weekdays it fits; change one day without disturbing the rest of the week.

Same tasks, three different days. Nothing lands outside a zone — on the weekend there is no Work zone, so work simply cannot be scheduled.

How it works

The AI never writes start times.
The scheduler never guesses intent.

Most AI planners blur those two jobs together, which is exactly why people stop trusting them. Awan keeps them apart on purpose — and puts you at the end of the chain.

    Reads the goal. Writes the tasks.

    You describe what you want in your own words. The AI breaks it into tasks with a duration, a zone, a priority, a deadline, and — where it matters — an order they have to happen in.

    It never writes a start time.

  2. Conflict Engine on your phone

    Works out where they fit.

    A scheduling engine on the device does all of the placement: sweeping for overlaps, sorting tasks that depend on each other, and filling the free slots inside each zone without running past its window.

    It never guesses what you meant.

    Decide what actually happens.

    The plan arrives as a proposal — every task editable, individually removable, each one showing why it landed where it did. Take all of it, take some of it, or send it back for another pass.

    Nothing is committed until you say so.

What the AI actually hands over

A fixed contract of facts about the work — not a calendar. Times are the engine's job, and the engine runs on your phone, which is also why the schedule still opens when you have no signal.

Every scheduler can build you a beautiful day. The hard part is the fourth Tuesday. Finishing a session pays points into a balance that flies up into the header, a streak counts the days you actually showed up, and the points buy frames, skins, themes and icons you can equip.

The balance is held on the server and only ever moves when you finish something, spin the daily wheel, or spend it — so it means what it says.

Why Awan

    Full right-to-left layout, a typeface swap, and mirrored controls — including which side the button rim sits on. A missing translation fails the build rather than shipping.

    Mint a Model Context Protocol token in the app and copy a ready-made Claude or Cursor config. Tokens are shown once, stored encrypted, and revocable.

What is Awan?

Awan is an AI daily planner for Android. You describe a goal or a task in plain language — or speak it, or photograph a syllabus — and Awan breaks it into tasks, works out how long each one takes, and places them inside the zones your day already has. When something runs over, it rebuilds the plan around what is left.

Does Awan change my schedule without asking?

No. This is the rule the app is built around: the AI never writes start times, and the scheduler never guesses intent. The AI proposes tasks and the on-device engine works out where they fit, but every change is shown to you as a proposal you can edit, remove, or reject before anything is committed.

How is Awan different from Motion, Reclaim, or Sunsama?

Those tools sit on top of a work calendar and are priced per seat for professionals. Motion places blocks for you automatically; Sunsama asks you to place every block yourself. Awan does the arithmetic and then asks permission, works from the zones you define rather than from a calendar full of meetings, and is built as a phone app for one person rather than a team tool.

What are zones?

Zones are named windows in your day — Study, Work, Play and Personal by default — each with its own hours, colour and categories. Every task belongs to a zone, and the scheduler only ever places it inside that zone’s window. You can group zones into routines applied to chosen weekdays, and customise a single day without disturbing the rest of the week.

What happens when a task runs over?

Awan detects the collision and surfaces an Intelligent Nudge with real options: skip the session, double up, reschedule it, or approve the change as-is. The plan re-flows only after you choose.

Does Awan work offline?

Yes. The app keeps a local database as its single source of truth and the interface reads from it directly, so your schedule is there without a connection. The network only refills the database in the background.
